INSPIRED BY: WILDFOX 'BLUE LAGOON' LOOK BOOK

Brrr!! It's cold, and snowing in Atlanta (what??) so I've been mining the interweb for warm inspiration. I'm officially obsessed with Wildfox's latest lookbook, aptly titled 'The Wildfox Lagoon'. If you've ever seen the movie 'The Blue Lagoon' you know first hand the wanderlust natural flowing hair, sun kissed skin and ship wrecked style can inspire.

This lookbook makes me feel like I would totally be fine being shipwrecked, as long as I had a good hair brush and a flower crown.

DYING FOR: THE MILITARY JACKET

I'm a believer in the over wearing of clothes, especially 'easy to toss on over a basic shirt and make yourself look like you didn't try but you just happen to look fabulous' jackets and pull overs. I'm the habitual wearer of black boyfriend cardigans and motorcycle jackets, but I think it's time to step my game up. Welcome to the land of the military jacket (sported by the amazing Olivia Palermo above), population - fabulous you.

DYING FOR: THE BOHO HAT

There's something about a good black boho hat that makes you feel like a stone cold fox. It's the perfect accessory to a chill jeans and t-shirt look (see above), plus you feel worldly and mysterious walking around town in fashionable cap right? A girl in a hat, she's clearly not afraid to take fashion risk or stand out in a crowd (or maybe she just doesn't like the sun in her eyes...) but the point is, I've been craving a "black floppy" and / or a "panama" hat for a while now. So maybe this post is just me hoping and wishing my husband will stumble upon this blog and find the perfect Christmas gift... haha just kidding, I'm going to email him this link.
