INSPIRED BY: WILDFOX 'BLUE LAGOON' LOOK BOOK

Brrr!! It's cold, and snowing in Atlanta (what??) so I've been mining the interweb for warm inspiration. I'm officially obsessed with Wildfox's latest lookbook, aptly titled 'The Wildfox Lagoon'. If you've ever seen the movie 'The Blue Lagoon' you know first hand the wanderlust natural flowing hair, sun kissed skin and ship wrecked style can inspire.

This lookbook makes me feel like I would totally be fine being shipwrecked, as long as I had a good hair brush and a flower crown.

WARM WISHES: FESTIVAL STYLE

It's below freezing here in Atlanta, which is pretty much unheard of. But instead of catching the winter blues, all I can do is day dream about the warm weather to come this spring: this amazing spring, that will bring music, fun and trips with friends - you guessed it, it's music festival season!

It's my favorite time of year, for obvious reasons. I love live music and I love fashion, and everything goes at a festival environment, it's the ultimate place to experiment with clothes and accessories you could never wear anywhere else. So, while I'm indoors warming up under a blanket as I write this post, I'm letting my mind wander to warmer days, and I'm shopping for three distinct festival looks, that fortunately, you can shop below!

1. Laid Back Babe

2. Femme and Festive

3. Rocker Chic

What's your favorite look, and do you plan on attending any festivals this year?

Stay warm loves!

DYING FOR: GRAY PULLOVER-OVER PLAID

I'm sure this has happened to all of us before. You're scrolling through Pinterest, minding your own business when BAM, the perfect outfit appears. Something that takes your breath away, and just like that your mind is wandering off to the concert you'll wear it to, and how you'll accessorize and how amazing it's going to look in pictures.

Then. Something horrible happens. You click on the link to find that said item is sold out. Your heart breaks into a million pieces, your dreams lay in shambles at your feet. But wait... ingenuity arrives.

You're not the type to sit around crying over spilled milk or devastated over the ghost of fashion desires past. No sir. You've got the power of H&M, and with it you find an outfit not only mirroring the one you wanted but with more bang for your buck. Because, you, you are a true fashionista one that doesn't believe in the binds of 'sold-out' or 'out-of-stock'. You are the creator of your destiny.

Long live fashion ingenuity.

Long live you.

3. Plaid Shirt - $25

DYING FOR: THE MILITARY JACKET

I'm a believer in the over wearing of clothes, especially 'easy to toss on over a basic shirt and make yourself look like you didn't try but you just happen to look fabulous' jackets and pull overs. I'm the habitual wearer of black boyfriend cardigans and motorcycle jackets, but I think it's time to step my game up. Welcome to the land of the military jacket (sported by the amazing Olivia Palermo above), population - fabulous you.

Clearly Alexa and Jules know how to sport the look - now it's your turn, shop the look below:

1. Madewell Outbound Jacket / 2. Zara Ballerina Flats with Crystals  / 3. True Religion Stella Black Ponte Skinny Jeans / 4. Base Range Linen and Cotton-Blend T-Shirt

So what's your favorite 'over-wearable' piece?

DYING FOR: THE BOHO HAT

There's something about a good black boho hat that makes you feel like a stone cold fox. It's the perfect accessory to a chill jeans and t-shirt look (see above), plus you feel worldly and mysterious walking around town in fashionable cap right? A girl in a hat, she's clearly not afraid to take fashion risk or stand out in a crowd (or maybe she just doesn't like the sun in her eyes...) but the point is, I've been craving a "black floppy" and / or a "panama" hat for a while now. So maybe this post is just me hoping and wishing my husband will stumble upon this blog and find the perfect Christmas gift... haha just kidding, I'm going to email him this link.

1. Carissa Floppy Hat  / 2. Grosgrain Panama Hat / 3. Lola Felt Floppy Hat/ 4. Wool Floppy Hat/
